
"I can make soup from a stpne!" declared the old man. The old woman didn't
beleive him. Do you?
The old poor man visited the old woman's house. He had a special shiny stone. He said "I can make soup from a stone." She allowed him to cook and helped him. First, he said. "An onion would make it better." So, the old woman popped it in and he tasted it. Next, "A potato would make it better," he said and old woman popepd it in. He licked his lips and said. "Some meat would make it better still." So she chopped some meat and popped it in just like before. The taste of the soup with a shiny special stone. The old woman said, "That stone must be magic." And then, they enjoyed having the soup together with her pets.
I thought the old man was deceiving the old woman into making delicious soup reading this book because he is poor and seems to just want to eat something. But I found she is very kind person. (177words)
