This book told me about why zebras have stripes and why monkey's bottom are red.

In this story, there are a monkey, a giraffe, an elephant and a zebra. The monkey monopolized a pond so the other could not drink water from the pond. The giraffe and the elephants tried to drink the water but they couldn't because the monkey always roared. Also, the zebra tried to share the pond but the monkey said "no!" Then the monkey lit a big fire by the pond to keep anyone at a distance. After that, the zebra ran at the monkey and kicked out his legs, so the monkey flew into he air and the sooty sticks from the fire too. The sticks landed on the zebra and the monkey landed on his bottom. Ever since then, zebra have stripes and monkey's bottoms are red!

I found how zebras got their stripes and how monkey got their red bottoms well by reading this book! But I think I can write more interesting story than this story.^^haha
